Job Title: Senior Odoo Functional Consultant (Pre-Sales + Delivery)

Experience Required:

10–14 Years (Minimum 5+ years in Odoo / ERP consulting)

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and client-facing Senior Odoo Functional Consultant who can independently drive pre-sales engagements, solution consulting, and end-to-end functional delivery of Odoo ERP implementations.

The ideal candidate must have deep functional expertise across multiple Odoo modules and versions, excellent communication skills, and strong business acumen to handle client discussions, negotiations, and solution positioning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales & Solutioning

Lead requirement discovery workshops with prospects

Deliver impactful product demos (Odoo) tailored to client use cases

Prepare solution proposals, effort estimations, and scope documents

Work closely with sales team to convert leads into closures

Handle client objections, negotiations, and solution positioning

2. Functional Consulting & Delivery

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD/FRD)

Map client requirements to Odoo standard features / custom solutions

Drive end-to-end implementation lifecycle

Coordinate with technical team (Odoo developers) for customizations

Validate delivered solutions through UAT & sign-offs

Ensure on-time and quality delivery of projects Shape

3. Client Management

Act as primary functional SPOC for clients

Conduct regular stakeholder meetings

Build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

Manage change requests and scope discussions

4. Process & Documentation

Create and maintain:

Functional specifications

User manuals & SOPs

Implementation documentation

Ensure structured delivery processes (Agile / Waterfall)

Core Functional Expertise Required

Candidate must have hands-on experience in:

Sales, CRM

Purchase & Inventory

Accounting & Finance

Manufacturing (MRP)

HRMS

Project Management

Nice to Have:

Multi-company & multi-currency setups

Odoo Community & Enterprise exposure (multiple versions)

Integration exposure (APIs, third-party systems)

Key Skills Required

Excellent English communication (mandatory) – must be confident in client-facing roles

Strong presentation & demo skills

Proven negotiation and stakeholder management ability

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to translate business needs into ERP solutions

Experience in handling international clients (preferred)

Educational Qualification

MBA / CA / CMA / B.E / B.Tech or equivalent

Functional domain expertise is a strong advantage
